R E T R O
I finally finished the faceup on my Hujoo Yomi boy, named Retro. I received him blank and decided to take elements of his default company face up and combine them with my own drawing style, as well as a bit of the feel of older anime and video games that I always enjoyed when I was younger. I wanted him to be a lot more animated in appearance than most BJDs (yeah yeah, I know a bunch of folks don’t count them as BJDs because they’re plastic but whatevs, he’s strung and jointed and I love him, so FACE.)
He still needs wig, clothes, possibly some eyelashes and his own eyes, but here he is! I got a compliment from somebody I don’t know today about him when I shared him in a Facebook group:
“Yeah, the simple and clean look as well as the cute little blushes on the cheeks really do make him look cartoony 8D and here was me saying to myself I didn’t like Hujoos much PFFTNOTANYMORE, yours is just the cutest one I’ve ever seen XD please share more of him lolol”

You rock too, anon! I can safely say I LOVE YEW, because I love EVERY member of our group! <3 Here’s to many more hilariously out-of-context doll blurtings and ab flashing competitions!
“I’ve got his body upstairs in my closet”
Lots of new people have started following me! Sorry I haven’t kept up with the greetings! What better way to introduce you to myself than to weird you out with my precious babee boys- “HI Y’ALL!” Iris, and the decidedly less masculine Yukio- or “Bambi”, if you ask Iris.
Hopefully I’ll be updating with some new art soon! Stay tuned, space cowboys~ =3=
I’m not into MLP:FiM, but this is damn adorable. I think a lot of my friends on here might be interested. <3
My Little Pony custom BJDs for sale by Silverbeam on Etsy. VINCE, VINCE, GO MAKE LUCKY. ._.
Someone on the BJD Adoption group I’m on on Facebook is having some pretty grave problems and is destined to be homeless soon. She’s looking for money right now and is selling a BJD project she’s been working on.
Hey guys it ends up I’ll be homeless in a matter of a few days due to some creep trying to steal my dog. I caught him in the act. when I confronted my landlord about it as he’s out maintenance man she gave me an eviction notice. So I may need to find my resins a good home as I’ll have nowhere to keep them.
I have a mod in progress white (painted) minimee pan from pans labyrinth opened dreaming eye head on a resinsoul mu coffee body. I was going to dye the head but decided instead to paint the whole doll when I had a dye issue on another doll. The legs still need massive work. They will need to be stripped and fixed I had been trying to get him to stand backwards like in the movie but several attempts have failed it might be better just to use them the mu way. And once that is done he’ll need repainted the paint started chipping as I’ve not sealed it yet, then the whole doll sealed, and then blushed, faceuped, and the hair situation worked out. I am selling him as is no splits $500.00 includes shipping and insurance.
He’s an awesome project doll I wouldn’t part with him but in my current situation I simply have no choice. I will have to ship him unstrung and I do not have a box for him. No trades! And I can’t get him insured outside of the Us. Pm me if interested but let me know here that you did in case it goes to my “other” folder.
And if anybody’s got Facebook, here’s the post itself, unless you feel like using me as a middleman.
My first BJD artist trading card commission arrived safely in the UK. Here’s Mohini holding her portrait: a picture of her and her husband Liam. Thanks for the photos, so glad you enjoy my artwork!
I went out to dinner with my family last night, and when I came back to my room when we got home I walked in on this. Iris sappin’ mah internets.
You gotta love the moments when you forget how you posed your doll before you left the house. If only one of my family members had been the first to walk in here…

A pair of commissions for a friend. All four characters are ball-jointed dolls. In the first card are Siobhan (left) and Shaddai (right), who belong to a friend of hers and herself respectively.
On the second card is Mohini (also hers) and her now-husband, Liam (belonging to the same friend of hers).
If anybody is interested in my ATC commissions, information can be found here.
I have a new edition to my family now! He’s my first BJD. A Kizdoll Vince, who retains the name Iris from his previous owner. He’s quite handsome and a bit of a jerk, but I’m already really attached to him. He’s in desperate need of a faceup and a new wig, the thing on his head looks like a rat wrapped in a drain clog if I’m not hiding it under his hood.

Commission one of a pair of commissions from the same person. This is her little lady, Mohini, and her friend’s sinister gentleman, Liam. The scanner wasn’t too kind to the Tuscan red on her lips, but I must deal with it. :/
Today is Liam and Mohini’s wedding day, how sweet!
